The Teaching Team
Our Mission:
The Teaching Team is a community of believers who are focused on teaching God’s Word wherever there is the greatest need.
Our Vision:
Be excellent at studying, living, and teaching God’s Word (Ezra 7:10)
What is the Teaching Team?
In Taiwan God has birthed a vision for reaching Asia with His Word. The School of Biblical Studies has been running eighteen years and has produced many dedicated people to send to the desperately ripe mission fields of Asia. Over the years the base has increased in ministries and has a strong teaching and training emphasis. We have seen the need in Asia in a unique way and felt God calling us to be a part of the answer. In 2008, a number of us responded and the Lord has risen a new ministry from this place. We call it The Teaching Team, in faith that this is only one of many “teams” that will be started.
We are a small team of people who operate in community and get sent out in smaller teams to teach the bible over Taiwan, China, Asia and the world. While not teaching we are actively involved in Chinese learning, evangelizing our community and developing ourselves as teachers through study and teaching prep times. God has called us to value Taiwan, on-going learning, Church, ministry in Teams, prayer, and community.
We have goals to see specific places in Taiwan and China being continually poured into from our team so that they can pass on what they have learnt to others in their community. We are offering discipleship classes in Taiwan at The Rock Coffee Bar ministry for one week every two months. We are printing 150,000 gospel seeds (tracts) to sow over the land of our community. We are teaching in English Bible Studies throughout the Taipei area to build up the church. Additionally, we also have a heart to go back to the Western world to call the young and old into missions where the laborers are few.
Who can join?
Anyone who has a heart to bring God’s Word to the most Bible starved places, and has completed SBS and the Titus Project is eligible to join the Teaching Team.
